Once more, nWave attended the much-anticipated IAAPA Expo show that takes place every year in Orlando, Florida.

This year’s edition gave us the opportunity to present the latest additions to our catalog with brand new attractions and ride simulations films designed to immerse audiences in captivating, vibrant worlds. The showcased releases included Calamity Mine Ride and Wanted Alive, films from nWave’s partner Red Star. These two titles introduce viewers to the same characters and universe but in different formats. Both tell the story of Lori, a resourceful young man, determined to transport her merchandise to the nearest western town in spite of the greedy Grizzly Brothers that roam the area.

Created by our very own in-house studio, Trapper’s Adventures embarks viewers on a risky mission to save Bigfoot. Asphalt 4D: Rush Ride takes speed aficionados on a top tier race around the globe. Based on the multi-award winning arcade racing franchise developed by Gameloft, the ride features exclusive Porsche car models.

We jumped on the occasion to launch Meg and the Lost Scepter, our latest attraction film derived from our ninth animated feature, Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness. Viewers will be able to reconnect with Meg, a fearless skunk, as she crosses the path of Chickenhare and his friend Abe. Together, they set out to find a long-lost relic.

It was a pleasure for us to attend this year's edition of the IAAPA Expo. “We felt that the crisis is more and more behind us and the future of the theme parks is bright again, says nWave Pictures’ senior vice president, sales & distribution EMEA, Goedele Gillis. “The season was very positive for most companies. As a result, our teams are all the more motivated to produce quality attractions that will entertain families all across the globe.”
